Thank you for your feedback about CheckIn. We have an obligation to keep an eye on the attendance of our students from both a welfare point of view and also to adhere to regulations. CheckIn is the University system we have in place to do this. However, if students have issues using the system then they should let both their lecturer know and also the Digital Innovation team (mailto:email@example.com) as this can then be investigated and resolved. There are also options for Checking in using your friend's device or a browser if you have issues with the app, have a look at our CheckIn guide for help with this. You should also notify your lecturer of explained absences and they will be able to have this recorded with the Student Administration office.
