Time to Change is an organisation working to reduce the stigma and discrimination associated with mental ill health. I am sharing below details of a competition they are launching which sounds very interesting. Click on the link below to find out more:-
Do you work with young people who would like to campaign to change the way we think and act about mental health?
We are excited to announce that we’ve teamed up with Life Channel to launch a competition for your students to create a short animation and develop a campaign plan about being there for friends.
The winning entry will be developed with professional animators and your students will be supported to promote it through school, Time to Change’s social media platforms and the Life Channel network.
The competition is designed to get students thinking about the topic of mental health in a fun and creative way. Students will develop skills in digital storytelling, design, campaign planning, media, team work and engagement. The competition is tailored to schools but also open to youth groups.
Once you sign up, you’ll receive a simple brief, campaign plan and storyboard template for you to share with your students.
The closing date is 14th July 2017 so sign up as soon as you can to start planning your submission with your students.
Life Channel will be in touch with you once you’ve entered the competition. Your data will only be used for the sole purpose of the competition.
We look forward to receiving your submission.
