PowerPoint – PowerPoint Basics
With: Mersedes Farjad/Tracey Eaton/Helen Day-Cocking
Week Commencing: Monday 6 March 2017
Venue: IT Training & Support Training Room (access via 24 hour computer room)

This taught session will be repeated three times during the same week.  Learners need to book for only one session.

Topics covered in this session:

  • Components of the PowerPoint interface
  • Viewing a slide show
  • Create and save a basic presentation using blank and design templates
  • Good practice for creating slides
  • Slide layout options
  • Using the help feature
  • Save a presentation in different file formats

If you are able to complete this sheet without any help, then you do not need to attend this taught session. Simply email the completed Task Sheet to the team ittraining@marjon.ac.uk for marking and feedback.

If you are unsure about some of the topics, why not book in for one of our drop-in sessions and we can go over them with you.

If you are unsure about most of the topics then we would strongly recommend you attend the taught session.
