Salary – £24,307 FTE

£20,280 per annum (including holiday entitlement)

Full-time (Term-time only) (37 hours per week) based in Plymouth

Six Month Maternity Cover Contract from 6th March 2017 (this may be subject to change dependant on the return of the post holder)

As part of a Young Devon team you will coordinate a designated hub area delivering face to face counselling and small group work in a cluster of schools. This is part of the wider Emotional Health and Wellbeing schools-based service in Plymouth where we offer a blended service in partnership with Kooth. This role will have a particular focus on our face to face counselling service in secondary schools ensuring Young People receive a safe, person-centred, effective and accessible service.

We have the flexibility to offer a holistic approach to engage young people: whilst working in partnership with Kooth (on line support), providers of CAMHS and the whole school approach.

We are passionate about making a difference and working alongside young people to help them build resilience and support emotional health and wellbeing. The support is ‘goal focused’ and evidence based incorporating outcome measures.

If you are a qualified, experienced counsellor with the skills to support and supervise a small team of volunteers and trainee counsellors, you have a flexible approach and you are a solution-focused thinker then we would like to hear from you.  This could be an opportunity to develop your skills and experience working within this team.
