Thank you for your response on the visibility of waiting for Student Support. It’s tricky to get it right for everyone; we have previously had people say they didn’t like going to an ‘outpost’.

We really want everyone who could use the services to be able to and we don’t want the waiting space to put people off. It may help to discuss this personally, as we might be able to solve it directly with you – if you are happy to, you could email Jenny Barnicoat.

In the meantime, the team are coming up with ideas and suggestions for practical ways to solve this, so watch this space, or if you have practical solutions or ideas please email Jenny (or use Chatback to remain anonymous).

Student Support are also intending to run a focus group with students who use their services – or might wish to use them more – so please look out for invites to that as we’d like to get this right for you.
