You can enter international characters using the Symbols menu however there is a quicker way to do this using the keyboard:

 

  • Insert an acute accent – á é í ó ú
    Hold down the Alt Gr key (located on the right of the spacebar) and press the letter of your choice at the same time.

 

  • Insert a grave accent – è ò ù ì
    This method requires you to press three keys at the same time. The accent mark is located over the Tab key and beneath the Escape key on the keyboard.  Hold down the Ctrl key first and then press the Accent key and the letter required at the same time. A bit tricky to do!
