Due to the popularity of Girl Guiding 26th Brownie group based in Mannamead (near Mutley) they are looking for volunteer leaders to help the Brownies with badge based activities ranging from arts & crafts, cooking, outdoor skills, theatre trips and much more.

They meet weekly (term time only) on Tuesdays from 5-6:15pm at Emmanuel Church Hall and would welcome any student who is interested in gaining experience of working alongside girls aged 7-10 years.

The is a brilliant opportunity for any BA Education Studies students or BEd/PGCE students who would like to gain extra experience. If you are interested in knowing more or getting involved please email Ruth on rxbryans@yahoo.co.uk

You can also log your volunteer hours through Futures Team to receive recognition for your commitment. For information regarding log books please email fhatherley@marjon.ac.uk
