The Library is aware of an off-campus issue with EBSCO/Discovery resources- this has been logged with EBSCO but there is no known fix time or workaround at the moment. We will keep you updated when we have more information.

On-campus services appear to be unaffected.

Library books during Study Week
by Alice Primmer - Friday, 20 October 2017, 11:23 AM

A reminder that you must renew your books if you're away for the Study Week next week. You can renew online through the catalogue: http://sirsidynix.marjon.ac.uk/client/en_GB/default but we'll be open as normal, so if there are any problems email libraryenquiries@marjon.ac.uk or telephone 01752 761145.
Top Tip: If you successfully renew on Saturday or Sunday your weekly books will be due on the 30th October- one less thing to worry about the rest of the week, but if you're renewing online make sure the dates have definitely changed!

Ebsco electronic resources unavailable
by Claire Stevens - Thursday, 19 October 2017, 9:11 AM

All Ebsco resources are currently unavailable due to an unknown system error which is affecting all UK subscribers. Hopefully this means that it is a top priority for Ebsco to fix and the downtime will be short - we will update when we have more information.

**Rugby Volunteering Opportunity**
by Phillippa Elford - Thursday, 19 October 2017, 8:52 AM

OPM Rugby http://www.opmrugby.com/ have launched a new 'beginners' under 12 section of the club (Year 7). They train between 1000 and 1130 on a Sunday morning and this may be extended to Thursday evenings.

OPM are keen to hear from Marjon students who would be interested in running this session (under the direction of the club's Head Coach). You would be expected to work independently at times so it is strongly suggested that only students with a RFU Level 1 or 2 consider themselves for this opportunity.
